Founded in 1987 by the Hoover Brothers, Hoover Trusses has been manufacturing roof and floor trusses for architects, engineers, contractors, homebuilders, and everyone in-between for decades. Nowadays, trusses are widely considered the best option for roof and floor framing for a variety of reasons. We typically have a 2 – 2 ½ Week turnaround time for our truss plant, however this can vary depending on volume.

1 Ordering

Ordering doesn’t have to be a hassle with Hoover Trusses. We have a fully staffed office ready and waiting to take your call. Know what you need? We’ll get right on it! Some things to specify in your order include quantity, roof pitch, span, designed load, configuration of truss, and any overhang you’ll be needing. Don’t quite know what you’ll need? That’s okay, we’ll come and meet you at your home, office, or job-site free of charge to make sure you have exactly what you need.

2 Design

All of our components at Hoover Trusses are designed in our office with the latest truss engineering software. Hoover uses Mi-Tek’s SAPPHIRE© software to design trusses in virtually any configuration imaginable. Architects, Contractors, and Engineers all depend on Hoover Trusses for not only our structural reliability, but our customizability.

3 Production

In 1987 Hoover Trusses was founded partly because we have such a high standard of quality for our pole buildings, and couldn’t rely on others to meet those demands. Today, our production crew utilizes the latest laser layout technology to make sure that your trusses are built to those same standards. We also use Mi-Tek’s connector plates to ensure your trusses’ stability for a lifetime of use.

4 Delivery

At Hoover Trusses we value timeliness above all else. We pride ourselves on being on site, on time, every time. While other companies use third parties to ship their trusses, we are situated in the heart of Lexington County, right by I-20, and have our own delivery crew in order to keep costs low and keep your projects going.
